The best beginner yoga poses

After you have performed the stretches for yoga, you are ready to perform the poses. There are various ways to execute these beginner yoga poses, but we have categorized them based on the exercise of similar muscle groups, such as supine positions, seated positions, half seated positions, back bend positions, etc. By following the categorized stances, it will be easier for you to move on to similar poses, and ultimately give you smoother yoga work outs.

The execution of poses (called yoga asanas) is important in getting the most out of yoga exercises. Performing these stretches for yoga improperly will take away from the mental and physical benefits associated with yoga exercises.  Correct form is imperative to working the right muscle groups and avoiding injury.

For beginners, you may want to start out with Supine Positions or Full Standing Positions, which will be easier than any other poses.  When you attain proper form with your yoga asanas, move on to more challenging positions.
